no one rides it, you may not either even after buying the ticket apparently

I love public transportation, I've always wanted to ride a monorail & even stayed at the Flamingo which its own Monorail Station & I STILL didn't ride it.

David, my guess is that it means that the Monorail is not that popular, and after trying it the OP might understand why.

yes, exactly, thank you.

Even had I bought a pass I doubt I would have used it, oddly designed to make you want to walk or take a cab.

The Buy1Get1 ticket for the monorail is the only reason I started playing MyVegas. Although I find it mundane, boring, and time consuming, I still play enough to get some Buy1Get1 passes for the monorail. Its not bad however at full price, not worth it.

They had free BOGO for Earth Day. I'm wondering if it's worth the LP's if you can get the pass for free.

We used the monorail when we were there at Easter, much better than getting on that bus that was full of people packed in like Sardines. We had three major stops on the monorail and it sure saved a lot of shoe leather going back and forth up the strip. It was like $20 for three days and I thin $8 dollars a day, so nice, clean and convenient. Don't listen that no one rides it, people were on it all of the time. There was a stop at Harrah's/Quad, one at Paris and one at MGM. We kept going back and forth all over the strip so it was helpful.

The Tix4Tonight booth had a deal on a 72 hour pass for $17 when I was there. We enjoy riding the monorail sometimes, primarily going from mid-strip up to visit LVH or down to MGM. There's no traffic or stoplights, it runs about every 10 minutes, and has air conditioning. But it has it's drawbacks for sure - long walk to catch it at the back of the casinos/hotels, and it quits running early at night for Vegas standards - left us stranded at MGM one night and it was only about 1am. . . turns out that particular night it quit running at midnight (I think it was a Monday night, the other nights I think it quit at 2am but I'll be sure to check the schedule next time). So we had to hike back to catch a taxi at MGM - frustrated. I agree it's not very popular - I don't think I've ever seen more than 5 people on the platform - usually it's empty.

Used to ride it several times my 1st couple trips till we started getting a car. Convenient from MGM to mid strip, that's a Long walk. Unless you have to get to the Convention Center not much other use since the Hilton is just Sorry now and the Sahara is gone. Otherwise how often do you get to ride a Monorail? I liked it. I Hate riding Busses. That's why I get a car all the time now.
