Top 3 places to Gamble...

Before Vegas I never knew what a slo machine was...at 34 years old... Good thing I guess. Now we are Platinum for the 4th time at TR. If you are a gambler like me, what are your top 3 places to play and why. I am including age, and types of games as I do think that plays into it. We are 38/29 and love the slots, though they don't always love us back. They are like that cool kid in class when you were little that you wanted to be around, but he just took your lunch money.

#1. Planet Hollywood- my gf loves this place because it has an upbeat vibe all the time. From the pleasure Pit dancers, to the music, it just is fun. We love the variety of pennies though we play .80 a spin. Buffalo is her main source of entertainment. I like everything Monopoly. I love how PH is laid out.

#2. Harrahs- this is a gamblers casino hands down. We love to play slots and Harrahs has so many and we actually win. There in zero vibe. Its all gabling and the smell of Subway next door and Casino Royales uncleaned carpet. But we love it

#3 New Yor New York- it is just hoppin all the time just like PH. Once we lose too much its off to Coyote ugly.

Honorable mention...i try to like Cosmo, but the slot scene sucks! It is geared to table players and thier club and restaurants.

What are you favs and why? Good luck!!

Hands down Fremont street is the best place to gamble for sure

1) lower minimums

2))better odds

3) better comps

This is where the serious gamblers go

El Cortez

Four queens

Much better vibe unlike the strip , food is cheaper and slots are looser

1. Longhorn Casino on Boulder Hwy, across from Sam's Town and East Side Cannery. $2 BJ with extremely good rules plus super fast and frequent cocktail service.

2. Jokers Wild in Henderson for $1 craps with 10x odds. Nuff said.

3. Poker Palace in NLV. Nothing like playing $1 BJ on a Tuesday afternoon with the crackheads. Best cheap entertainment you can find in Nevada. Or anywhere really.

Wynn & Encore

Best blackjack odds, best dealers, best drink service, premium liquor pours, clean, comfortable. Can't beat it.

You are committed to Total Rewards, we are not. So we prefer to go where the gambling is better and doesn't cost as much.

1. Gold Coast. 9/6 JOB at the quarter level, and a good selection of deuces wild with excellent pay-tables. Pai Gow Poker is $10, but we can live with that. And of course the dining is great and reasonably priced.

2. South Point: No JOB, but full pay Bonus Poker and Deuces Wild. $5 Pai Gow Poker and $3 Craps.

3. Orleans: $5 Pai Gow Poker, decent JOB and DW. And my wife likes that the Big Craps machine is $1 minimum. Orleans is home for us, so we know all the dining and gambling options.

My number one is NYNY.....I also love the vibe in there and we seem to win more when we are there. I also love Main Street Station because I can enjoy the microbrews while slotting around. Third would be Paris...I like the theme and I also seem to be lucky there.

I second that on Binion's downtown! I don't know what it is but something there just Clicks for me. I just like the atmosphere there, yes, people who are there TO gamble like me, not your average Tourists. Low table minimums too. South Point, another Low Rollers Heaven, Mini-Bac at $5? You kidding me? I haven't seen Mini-Bac that low Anywhere. I had Fun learning that game and playing with my litte pen & scorecard. I like that place more everytime I go in there. I run around all day Downtown & Off-Strip primarily for the lower prices on the buffets and also for lower table minimums. Only stay on the Strip after coming back from dinner and stick around close to where I'm staying, the Flamingo for the last dozen trips. Know that place like the back of my hand for sure, I like that feeling and can't wait to smell the Cocoanuts again next month. Already been everywhere else in the last 10yrs, so I've seen it all. High Class Luxury doesn't really do anything for me. I don't need to stay or Pay for that much. You should see the Dump I live in so I don't really care. Probably the Fanciest place I ever stayed was in AC at the Taj in the Chairman Tower. Sure it was nice but it just doesn't matter to me all that much, you're only there for a little while. I'm used to the Flamingo.GO rooms and prefer them all the time now.

Shockingly Hooters - it is the only place I have good luck at slots. On Memorial Day, I got 10X in rewards and was earning $20 in free slot play every few hours. Good luck getting that at a big casino.

iluvmycharger - your GF will love the 5 new male dealers in the Pleasure Pit at Planet Hollywood they just hired. One guy looks like a clone to Steve Austin!
