Pet friendly hotels Las Vegas

I live in Vegas so I bring my dog often to hotels with me just for fun, if you are wondering what is best hotel for you and your dogs it would depend on a few things, however I can give you some good insight on the subject.

Some hotels are very difficult to get into with your pet, some hotels take forever to get to their dog park or pet area, some do not even have grass or fake grassy areas for your pooch.

Id say the Flamingo is one of the most difficult hotels to bring your pet, the pet rooms are very far from reception, the grassy area for pet is very very small and right next to major traffic street,

I did not like this at all. Ill never bring my pet back here, her name is Josie, and she told me she doesnt want to go back!

The Trump is nice but they want $200 non refundable fee and thats just too darn expensive

unless your are rich and do not mind the fee:) Planet Hollywood is way too busy for your Pet,

we stayed here and just too many people in elevators and all around, I had to carry my dog

everywhere in this hotel, Imperial Palace and Rio are probably the absolute worst for your

dog, what a disgusting place!

There is a pretty nice place called Rumor off strip across street from Hard Rock, its set up wonderfully for your dog with only 2 stories and huge back area for dog, pet fee is not too bad at $35.00.

One of Josies favorite hotels to stay and I have to agree is the hotel at Mandalay bay, not Mandalay bay but the property next to Mandalay bay is called "The Hotel"

First off this hotel has a pretty nice grassy area for the dog, and the rooms are spectacular for pets, probably the best , even better then 4 seasons. This hotel is never really busy and they allow the dog to go pretty much everywhere. I like how you can quickly get to the dog area from the pet rooms. Second, everyone at this hotel loves dogs, kinda like Loews.

The Cromwell is a new hotel in Vegas and allows Pets, but the rooms are just too darn small for the pet, and the grassy area outside for pet is not so good. Caesars is another hotel thats pretty tough to get around with a Pet, id not go back.

The LaQuinta properties are excellent for dogs..excellent.

The Starwoods allow pets, such as the Westin Lake Las Vegas, Westin near strip on Flaming,

and the Element hotel which the best Starwood for pets, Element is off strip in great area of Summerlin, LV. Josie loves the element. This is where President Obama stays when he comes here.

If you would like to email me I would be glad to talk about pet friendly hotels in Vegas.

I think Josie needs to read up on her hotel names. She must not get on the internet much.

The Cosmopolitan is dog friendly, though I wouldn't take a dog who likes to jump fences, unless staying in their city room.

Like kids, I'd probably not plan a vacation to Vegas with my dog unless it was a pass through one night only kind of thing. I love kids, and I love dogs but I can think of places that would be a lot more fun for my pooch and my kids. :) But hey, to each his own. Bring your kids, your dogs, your grouchy great grandmas who hate drinking, gambling, music, swearing and smoking, your birds, your ant farm, your egg cooker, your ten friends you're going to sneak into a 400 foot 2 bed room... Whatever. :) It's Vegas baby.

Yes we live in Vegas and we like to stay in hotels, why would I want to stay in my house every single night when we can stay at all these wonderful places in Las Vegas? Usually there is good food places in these hotels too. I would understand if you like to stay home alot and cook your own food.

@Joanner: Not to hijack the thread, but I live in Vegas and I stay in hotels here as well.

I get a lot of comp offers. If a casino is willing to give me $250 or more in free play with a free 2 night stay, I'll take a small vacation in my own home town! They won't me play in the tournament or get the free play or attend the special presentation of _______, or whatever, unless I stay with them. So I probably end up with even more nights in Vegas hotels each year than most visitors!

Back to the thread: I have not visited Rumors, but they advertise as being dog-friendly.

There is grass on the north side of Bally's that is for pets staying there. I've seen many dogs and their servants out on that grass strip.

Wow,people are absolutely crazy about their pets. I mean it literally. I'm not sure how a pet can tell you they did or didn't like a hotel. I'm starting to think it would be nice if people treated their kids as well as they treat their pets. When the day comes that I have to take my dog with me to Vegas, bury me.
