"Must See/Do"

We will be in Las Vegas June 19-23, 2014. We are staying at Aria. The internet is a wonderful tool, but sometimes it can cause information overload. It has in our case. Please let us know of a couple of restaurants, bars, lounges and/or nightclubs that we should visit while in Las Vegas.

So far, here is what we have nailed down......Friday night we are seeing Absinthe. One night we are going to spend on Fremont Street. We are going to The Peppermill. We are going to Rock of Ages Saturday night followed by the Bourbon Room. One afternoon we are going to the Forum Shops.

Any additional ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Here's some more ideas...

1. Visit the Stratosphere Level 107 lounge Happy Hour on the way to Fremont Street

2. Rose.Rabbit.Lie may appeal- and have a look at the Chandelier Bar while you're at Cosmopolitan

Bon voyage!

Personally, I'd throw a comedy show in too such as the improv, but you are time limited, so on second thought, I'd skip it. Mandarin Oriental bar on the 23rd floor...amazing views. Drinks, nibbles/dinner at rose.rabbit.lie...sit at the bar, skip the show and be entertained by the bartenders and the performers that come through. Hash house a gogo at the quad. If you have a vehicle I'd take a quick trip out to red rock. Doesn't need to be said, but there are tons of malls and casinos to check out on the way to everything. I'm not a huge fan of dueling piano bars, but if you've never been to one, you should def check one out in the evening. The high roller at night/Linq. Frozen cocktails. We really like the purple zebra for frozen drinks, there's one at the Linq, and We'd always go there for frozen drinks, refills are cheaper and we got a few free with the loyalty card

Absinthe is a great pick. I'm not overly impressed with the Bourbon Room anymore, though it's convenient when seeing Rock of Ages and it is designed to tie directly into that show. Be sure to see at least one Bellagio fountain show. It's better at night. More frequency (every 15 minutes). Good advice on Chandelier Bar at Cosmopolitan. Check out the different levels. They have different cocktails on offer.

Have a cocktail at Hyde at Bellagio and see the fountains. Love all the other suggestions given. Have a slice of pizza at Five50 and a pastry from Jean Phillippe at Aria. Have breakfast on the patio at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris or Bouchon at Venetian.
