First trip to Vegas, Solo

I'm 33 y.o travelling solo to Vegas.

I RTFF and got many things in mind but need your advice on a hotel.

Staying for 4 or 5 days.

Going in 2nd August for mainly chilling out around the pool and may be partying a bit.

I'm a foodie so want to plan a 2-3 steakhouses which serves good beef.

My stay should be buffet breakfast (recommendations?) hanging out at the pool (which hotel got best pool and if there are pool parties during the week days?) prefer to stay in the same hotel.

After noon would walk the strip 1 day each part north, south and middle.

Activities:

I want to do the supercar driving experience, SKydiving or this thing like the bunjee and FSE.

Visit the shark reef also.

Nights would be nice for the steak houses and one show everyday.

Ending the night in a nice bar (perferbely at the hotel) or a club (would do 2 max)

So main qeustions i listed above.

1) Hotel with pool (may be party) and bar, and club(if possible) which caters for solo guys my age and good breakfast buffet

2) what do you think about the activities? Thinking to include the shooting in there.

3) Shows (thinking CDS and David Coperfiled) which one are woow.

4) might visit one day a strip club, never been into one :)

thanks in advance.

Here's what I would do...I am slightly older then you and female though so take that into account LOL, Not knowing your budget for hotel...I would stay mid strip...ARIA. I dont know about their buffet...But I have heard The Cosmo's Wicked Spoon is awesome--which is next door. My favorite breakfast buffet is at Paris which is close by...because I love the made to order crepes....however seeing your actually from France...it maybe a let down..I know no better.

Check out jackcolton.com for pool parties and clubbing.

For CDS I highly recommend Love at the Mirage...I am not to into the Beatles but this was fantastic. I would also see Carrot Top and/or the Blue man group...its on my list and I have heard great things about them.

If you do choose to zipline the FSE....I recommend Binion's for dinner at Binion's Ranch steakhouse...located upstairs...it has a phenomenal view at sunset and the food and service are great. Or try Andiamo at the D...I loved everything and was comped a trio of desserts I had no room for but ate anyway.

Hi there, I would suggest looking at the MGM Grand's web site it has the most wonderful pools, and the Wet Republic is a party place for all younger people and the river in the pool area is lots of fun as well. The club that recently opened is also No 1 I believe. It is called Hakkasan. Take a look at the site as it has wonderful restaurants, newly renovated rooms and a very fun place. Keep us posted if you like this hotel. There are so many beautiful hotels and lots of great buffets and we like the Aria and Belliago the best for us. Personal choice of course.

Thanks for your inputs. Aria and Bellagio looks great.

Bellagio i was told doesn't have nightlife there other than the casino (might be wrong advice)

Budget is very flexible but like to keep the hotels at 100-150$

Any feedback on choosing Wynn or Encore?

France!! i need to change my settings :D i'm From Egypt. France is when i reported long time back.

Aria and Cosmo are popular with those who like a party atmosphere.

Wynn and Encore will be outside of your $100-150 preferred budget.

We really enjoyed David Copperfield and you might also like Absinthe or Zumanity.

I'd go with Cosmo, or at that budget, maybe Mirage or MGM. You're from Egypt, so I guess sunbathing and walking miles in August might be doable. But you won't be "chillin'" that's for sure.

Aug 2 is a Saturday- that could screw your whole plan with rates double what Mondays are. Have you planned for this?

The bungee thing is at the Stratosphere, way down on the seedy side of the Strip. If you're there, you might as well stop by the pool at the Golden Nugget, which has a water slide through a shark tank. Smaller but more interactive than the shark reef. :)

There's skydiving in Jean, either the two operators there will pick you up from your hotel. There's also an indoor skydiving/wind tunnel just north of Encore. The Wynn/Encore complex has Surrender, which does both night and beach parties. Note that the pool parties are on the weekends, not weekdays.

Bellagio has Bank, a pretty sweet club with a good layout for people-watching without needing a table.

The breakfast buffet at Aria is outstanding! The service leaves a lot to be desired, but the food more than makes up for it.

N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms has both amazing food and service. Be sure to save room for the Campfire S'Mores dessert!

LOVE and Mystere are my two favorite CDS shows. Both are amazing in their own ways.

If you are also looking for a magic show, I would suggest Penn & Teller at the Rio. They put on a great show, and both hang out in the lobby after the show for autographs and pictures. The Rio is right by the Palms, so dinner at N9NE followed by Penn & Teller would make for a great evening.

If you love to laugh, I would also suggest seeing Carrot Top at the Luxor. Hilarious!!! And the best part? It's in a pyramid! ;)
