Casino specialty drinks ...

Okay I'm going to print this one and put it in my planning book.

I love going to bars or where ever they maybe serving drinks and order the bartenders/house specialty. I'm not a foodie but refer to myself a drinkie lol. So my question is what are the house specialty drinks at the various casinos - strip/off/downtown ... or the bars.

I know i want to try at chocolate or coffee martini at Cosmo.

And a red beer at Main St down town.

Ooh great idea! I think I'll be following this thread pretty closely! I've heard the raspberry lemon drops at the cosmo are fantastic too.

I have little else to offer other than I *loved* the cherry bombs at the heart bar at PH, and the Zarkgria at the Zarkana concession stand. I tend to stick to my tried and trues, but did try bellinis at bellagio on a TA recommendation last trip and was disappointed.

On the recommendation of a server at Cosmo got their midori sour - blew the lemon drops away!

Keep in mind my idea of classing it up is ordering a corona instead of a bud.

My 2 cents...

Buzz button at cosmo. Chandelier bar. They serve the drink with a flower that sort of numbs your mouth and opens your taste buds. The drink tastes amazing. Crazy experience.

When you are downtown, try the Downtown Cocktail Room. Not a casino, but they can mix *anything* using the correct ingredients and procedures. They also have an extensive menu of specialty drinks.

Neither on the strip nor downtown is Frankie's Tiki Room. You simply must go. You will know why once you get inside.

Chocolate martini at the Wynn. They coat the inside of the glass with a chocolate syrup before they pour the drink in the glass. Simply yummy.

If you happen to be at Charlie Palmer Steak ask Tommy the bartender to make you a special bourbon drink. You WILL like it....

Golden Leaf Martini at Mandarin Bar. I normally go with the vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives at Olives, but this one at Mandarin is gin with mandarin orange. Delightful.

This is such a good thread idea. I love trying different cocktails so will definitely be keeping a close eye on suggestions (and jotting them all down to try in September) :)
