Does the NFC and AFC Championship bring a crowd?

I'll be in Vegas in January on the weekend of these games. Is this a draw in Vegas? I thought it might be fun to watch these games in a sports book but not sure I want to get there early to get a seat etc. Anyone done this before and was it very crowded?

NO. Of course the sports books will be crowded. But people don't make a special trip to Vegas to watch the games in a party atmosphere, like the Super Bowl.

And of course the weather keeps a lot of people away from Vegas then.

It's MLK weekend and a convention with 50,000 people starts the same day. I've been in town for those games 2 of the past 4 years and it's been very busy. Not just the sports books but any bar in the Strip area is very busy.

Nothing like Superbowl, but far from quiet.

Indeed it brings a crowd. Sports Books will definitely be crowded, but I enjoyed it at Caesars since they have that huge screen in a big open area. Also, the bars and table games around the sports book have tv's that can be easily viewed. There will be a giant standing room only crowd gathered to watch them, but I sat at the Rapid Roulette table and watched one of those whole games a couple years ago. It was excellent and I highly recommend experiencing it.

I dont think the NFC/AFC championship games specifically bring many people to Las Vegas, but it brings crowds to the books. Both tourists that are already there and locals a like. So as mentioned the books are busy, but this is true throughout the playoffs and really on any Sat for college or Sunday for the NFL.

Sometimes when we go in January the playoffs just happen to fall when we are there. The sportsbooks are busy, but we don't see any great increase in the number of people.
