Are there any issues if Mosquitos in Vegas? Do I need to pack repellant ?
I've never seen a mosquito in Vegas. . . I would think the climate is too dry for them.
But I'm sure a local TA member can give you a definitive answer.
Do pack (or buy locally) lip balm and eye drops - very dry out there.Edited: 16 July 2014, 07:36
Of course there is mojitos In vegas! I've seen the pictures they look lovely! ;-)
We are splitting our holiday in LV and minnesota....I will get bitten like a pin cushion in Mn bu, never in vegad
I don't recall ever being bothered by wasps either, am sure they must be there but it's not like trying to eat out over here in the summer.
As well as water, mosquitos also need a significant amount of greenery.
So you don't need to pack any repellant.
I wonder what kind of bugs the Luxor bats eat? The lack of bugs is a real plus when choosing to visit Vegas compared to Florida or canadian lakes. I have never seen any bees or wasps or flies on the strip.
