Wynn or Venetian?

My husband and I are traveling to LV in February and I am trying to decide between these two properties. The Wynn is about $100 cheaper for 4 nights. We will do a bit of gambling, see a show, stroll down the strip, and hit a bar or two. If you had your choice, which property would you select and why? Thx!

Wynn for me. My wife and I go at least twice a year and stay at Wynn in the summer and Encore in the fall.

Wynn should cost more. Either you have a player specific offer, or something is happening on your dates.

This is a no-brainer, stay at Wynn.

Wynn is the better option at the same price. Wynn is a no brainer at a cheaper price.

If Wynn is cheaper then the wynn. Both are wonderful, fantastic Wynn is a little quiter than venitian.

Venititan has more food choices.

Both have excellent rooms and I like both casinos

Wynn has much better gaming (lower house edge on blackjack and video poker if that matters to you). I'd suggest Wynn.

I would happily pay $100 more for the Wynn. If it's coming in cheaper, going to agree with the numerous "no brainer" comments already posted.

Yes Wynn. And you will spend that saved $100 on wynns expensive dining, but it's worth it.

I'm also dithering about both hotels for next April, and like the posters dates, ours are also cheaper. We've previously stayed at the Wynn and really liked it - in fact we still get email offers to tempt us. But we recently saw a documentary about "inside the venetian" and felt a pull to stay there. Gambling not the appeal in either.

So can I ask ... why not the venetian?

You're getting a good deal on Wynn if it's $100 cheaper (or maybe a bad deal at Venetian?) However, I would say that I wouldn't automatically pick Wynn just because it's the more expensive property. I have enjoyed my stays at Palazzo as much if not more than my stays at Wynn Encore. I like the room better at Palazzo (Venetian's twin) and I also appreciate the wider variety of dining options. Service is better at Wynn, and I like their pools and the casino better there, especially now, but it depends on what you value most as to which is the better option.
