a host can only do so much for the average player be it slots or table games, if your treated to any kind of free comps be it rooms or free slot play money or food voucher the hotel expects you to play whatever to cover some of these freebies, you might get away once or twice not playing what they expect,, but no host can not just keep handing out freebies because they probably have more than they can handle ,, and wouldn't have a job to long if who ever they are giving these freebies is not putting anything back to the hotel..

there are 2 rules in vegas

no 1 rule ------YOU PLAY=YOU STAY

no 2 rule------- NO PLAY = YOU PAY

I have one, but have never used him until yesterday! Able to put comped rooms together from 2 different offers, so made me happy!

Gord I understand that. I have been to Las Vegas many times. I was just asking a question to people whether they had one or not.

Wlgambler that's cool. They can help you out sometimes like that :)

Since we do not gamble, but only attend business meetings, we do not have a host. Not sure that anyone would ever consider us for one either, and I could not blame them.

One at V/P, one at Wynn, a few at CET but only use one and one at NY. Can't remember if there are any others. I get alot of calls at home or emails from host with offers from various properties so might have more but just never used them or contacted them. Also get calls from independent hosts, not sure about them so stick to my usual property related ones.

No,

While I gamble daily between $200 and $1000 a day in Vegas and am a member of the players clubs at each casino I gamble at I have never been offered a free room or services of a host.

I am told this is because I wager mostly at black jack tables with between $5 and $15 minimums and the "Get-Stuff" threshold for table wagers/players is $20. were I inclined to spend the same $$$ at slots I would also have a good relationship with many Hosts by now I'm sure.

Yes,

I would love to know a Host, if you wish to share yours e-mail me on the side. I am staying this year at the Cosmo and Encore on two separate trips. (Next year looking like Vdara and Tropicana.)

No host, but we're low-rollers just trying to make our $250 (each) last us through the night.

But I was surprised one time at Palazzo when a Grazie Rep approached me by name at a slot machine to inform me they had added $40 Free Play onto my Grazie card. I thought that was pretty cool - surprised me.

I actually prefer just using marketing offers, but do have hosts at several of the M Life properties because I didn't have a marketing offer when I wanted to stay there, so I had to call a host.
