In-depth review posted for Planet Hollywood

This is just a heads-up that my review of the Planet Hollywood (August 3 to 7) has been posted and is now approved. If you are considering this hotel, have a look at it as it contains a lot of detail of my experience at the property as well as some photos of the room/view.

Thank you. Don't take this the wrong way, but the only people who read reviews are those looking at a particular hotel. Do you go in every few days and read reviews of all the different hotels?

If you want it read by more people here---post it here. JMO

Did you visit the pool area? If so, what was your assessment of it?

No, I did not try the pool. We were simply too busy or interested in other things that we did not get a chance to check it out in person. To be honest, I don't feel like I missed anything. Las Vegas is a destination trip and we went for the sights, sounds, and casinos. Going and sitting by a pool is a bit of a waste especially considering PH's pool atmosphere didn't stand out to me as being anything spectacular.

As for Pin-Up Pizza, we did try it one night for a late/quick dinner. They have several varieties of pizza (cheese, pepperoni, meatball, sausage, meat lovers, artichoke, and margherita). Each slice is around $5-6 and the slices are HUGE. You will not find a bigger slice of pizza anywhere. I found the pepperoni slice quite tasty although nothing spectacular. They also serve these "garlic knot" things for $1. My friend tried one and said it was bland.

As one of the posters who suggested you stay at PH, I'm delighted you and your friend had a good time:)

Are you planning another visit?
