Bally's construction?

Is there construction going on now at Bally's? If so, what are they doing?

Also, did the new crepe place open up yet in the food court area?

Thanks! Wow. I had no idea of the size of the project. Maybe I should stay elsewhere since it might be noisy

All the digging and breaking up of old concrete has been done. They are now building and assembling. The traffic noise is louder. With the room distance and double glazing you will not hear anything. I have not seen any tripreports complaining about noise.

I have seen more complaints about the Drais beach party noise at the Cromwell. Guess it depends what tower your in at Bally's.

Stayed at Bally's a few months ago. Noise wasn't an issue, but construction made it difficult to head north on the strip. Now you have to walk the length of the casino and exit towards the back, cross the street and walk along side Cromwell to get to the strip. This is an improvement from when we were there, Cromwell was still under construction, sidewalk was closed and there was a REALLY convoluted route northbound.

I was just there in July and we were in the Jubilee Tower facing Drais. It was noisy but we had earplugs and that seemed to do the trick. The other side of the Jubilee Tower faces Paris and while the views of the Bellagio Fountains are good the noise from the club at Paris is not. Ear Plugs only partially drowned out the bass. I'm almost thinking it's time to go back to the Indigo Tower with a view facing the airport. Wasn't much noise from that perspective.

We were able to go north on Las Vegas Boulevard by either the Lobby Doors or out the Tour Bus Doors and walk across to the Cromwell. I, for one, will be very happy when the work is finished.

Oh yes and in answer to your question - the Crepe Place is open on the lower level of Bally's and the breakfast one is delicious. Apparently the nutella and banana is also delicious. Any of the food purchased at the Food Court can be taken into the pool area - at least on the day we were there.

I am lying in bed at Ballys with no hope of sleep as my room faces The Cromwell where the music is blaring and jackhammers are going at 1:25am. Better off with room facing towards Paris. Weird thing last night (Monday) it was silent though construction started at 6am
