MGM rooms with coffee pots or fridges?

How do you keep your mixes and beers cold in these rooms? I sure like my morning coffee first thing! Can I bring a coffee pot in my suitcase??

Lesser priced hotels seem to have these amenities i.e. Circus-Circus , etc.

PS. I see Circus has very good reviews for an older casino/ hotel. These people who diss it are unrealistic about what some people care about when coming to LV I think.

MGM has a Starbucks, very easy to go there for coffee.

Stay at Circus Circus if you'd like. You are right there are people like you that probably care about other things than people like me. I dont cook coffee at home because there are Starbucks on every corner that will do it for me so why would I want to do that in a hotel room in Las Vegas?

We used to stay there but now we are trying the other end of the strip.. We are elderly now and this is probably our last trip to L. V.(so sad)

First trip was in 1979!!

You're right. If you want your Las Vegas experience to be like those in other cities, you should look for the same features in a hotel.

One of the problems is that the rates in Las Vegas are so compact. Those of us here know that by staying at Circus Circus instead of a better choice, you won't be saving $1000's. In fact you won't even be saving $100's. If anything you will save $10's And sometimes not any at all. So it is awful hard for us to recommend a lesser hotel experience when we know for just a few dollars more (if any) your trip can be better.

But by all means, go with Circus Circus if you feel it is the right choice for you.

If that is the case then go out with a bang, mix things up. Dont cook your own coffee, go to Starbucks, drink at bars not in your room. Stay at a high end resort not a lesser price property. After all this is probably your last trip, make it a memorable one. Enjoy, relax.

If you can fit a small coffee pot in your luggage then bring it. I like coffee first thing too but dont like paying $4 for a cup that I have to get dressed to go get. I usually do without coffee in Vegas unless there is a maker in the room or I get a cup with a sit-down breakfast.

In regards to keeping things cold. Id sometimes bring insulated bags, put my drinks at the bottom, fill with ice, and leave in the tub or shower.

FYI: The standard rooms at the Las Vegas Hilton(now the Westgate) offers Keurigs in their rooms per their website.

I did bring a coffee pot in my suitcase once - worked just fine. Just a heads up though, I was pulled aside at both airports because of it, where they checked for bomb residue on my coffee pot. I mean, I know I don't make the best coffee, but really?

The MGM is nice in that there is a 24 starbucks there. Throw on yesterday's clothes and head downstairs.

you could always buy a cheap coffee maker at a cvs or wallgreenes , usually get one for $10 to $15
