Advice for Hiking in Feb?

Hi! Me and a car-full of friends (all 20 somethings, beginner - medium experience) will be in Vegas this February 10-14. For sure I want to do a day hike, maybe more.

I know Red Rock is very close by, but will the weather in Feb effect where we should hike? Is there a better hike that's worth driving for?

I did Zion years ago and absolutely loved it! (Legit, I might just go back there..)

Any and all advice is appreciated! Thank you!

Red Rock is perfect. A dozen different hiking venues, and just 20-30 minutes away from the Strip.

Red Rock in Feb. is fine! Might want to look into Valley of Fire, also. February is perfect hiking weather in the desert.

Feb should be fine. Always the odd snow but it should not bother unless going up Mt. Charleston - although I've done Fletcher Canyon in the snow and thought it was awesome (although slippery).

Would nt recommend Angels Landing in Zion if there was any chance of ice - but that hike is certainly hard to beat!

Hikes near Vegas listed here. The hotsprings hikes are fun, like AZ Hotsprings and Goldstrike.

Zion is great in February. You practically have the park to yourself.

I've hiked at Red Rock in February. There was a small amount of snow that turned to heavy rain, so bring a coat.
