If you can afford it, consider Hard Rock, there will be a lot of younger people there. A less expensive option would be the Flamingo, very centrally located and lots to see and do there.

The Luxor is a good hotel for first-timers generally but I would not recommend it for a young single person as there isn't much of a social scene.

Hi Pukie

If you check on most of the hotel web sites,I think you'll find that you must be 21 or older to check in on your own.

So this person can sit around and gamble and drink in their hotel room alone? THAT sounds like a fun vacation! Penny Solitaire and a six-pack of Bud Light, whoo hoo Vegas here I come!! :)

pukie- I can tell you that alot of the casino/hotels require you to be 21 to check in. The only choice you might have is a property where there is no casino- Vegas is a tough place to be if you aren't old enough to legally drink or gamble. You sure you don't want to wait until you turn 21?

The real key is, you won't be permitted to check in to a hotel if you aren't 21 and have a credit card in your own name.

Are you going with someone that is 21? If so, you should make the hotel reservations in there name. If you don't you will be turned away.

Hope you enjoy it and have a great 21st! just make sure you check with the hotels before you go that you can check in. They ask for id all the time if they think you look 30 or under, my hubby was still being asked at 32. My niece was 20 last time we went and they don't even let you stand talking to someone in the casinos, which take up the main area of most hotels if you are under 21 or if you look under 30 and don't have id. They wouldn't even serve me with a coffee at the bar, I was 35 but id was in my room!
