Tipping with chips?

Is is kosher to tip people using casino chips? Or is that not a good thing to do?

Like housekeeping, waitstaff, bartenders, drivers?

I don't know why, I like the idea of tipping people with chips!

There is a web site by a vegas cocktail waitress. Can't remember the name of the site. But she said the only chips that are a problem are roulette ones if they are from a different casino.

Chips are a perfectly normal way of tipping. All we have to do is go to the cashier to turn them into real money. Roulette chips should not be removed from the table. Trade them in for real chips before leaving the table.
