Who's stayed at EVERY hotel in Laughlin?

How many regulars to Laughlin can claim to have stayed at ALL 11 Resorts?

(Aquarius, Avi, Bayshore, Colorado Belle, Edgewater, Golden Nugget, Harrah's, River Palms, Riverside, Pioneer, Tropicana)

(I am at number three, and have booked at four and five)

I have stayed at Harrahs, River Palms, belle, edgewater, nugget, flamingo ( but not Aquarius) Riverside, ramada express and Tropicana.

I guess I'm just missing Pioneer?

This took 15 years though......

And for six years I lived in Twentynine Palms California so we came to Laughlin a lot

Who has stayed at the fewest? I suppose there are those who absolutely prefer one hotel, but I have only stayed at three. Edgewater, Colorado Belle, and Pioneer. This, despite the fact that I enjoy going for the bowling as much as gambling.

I have all of your list accomplished except for AVI and the Bayshore. Actually the Bayshore is a motel and not a hotel, so I get that one on a technicality. I guess I should get bonus points for a few not on your list- Flamingo Hilton, Gold River and Ramada Express.

Okay CaSwede - I think I'm neck and neck with you - I also have stayed in all except for the Bay shore and Avi, however...you've stayed at the Gold River. Well I stayed there when it was Sams Town (or was it by chance called 'Sams Town Gold River')? :)

My order of comfort: Aquarious, Golden Nugget, Tropicana, Golden Nugget, Riverside, Harrahs, Colorado Belle, Edgewater, park bench, a tent, my car......Pioneer.

Only three...ranked below in order of preference.

Aquarius

Harrahs

Avi

No matter where you stay always check for the bedbugs. :-)

This is not a put down on Laughlin, we check everywhere we stay, even in nicer places in Vegas.

We have never found any, though have heard reports of them. It is always a good idea to check at any hotel you go to before you unpack. Demand another room if you find any evidence.

I have not stayed at Avi or Bayshore (don't actually know where that is???).

While Pioneer is not quite below my car, it is not too much lower than Edgewater!

Even after being a Laughlin visitor for 30 years I still have a ways to go. Have never stayed at the Avi, Harrahs, Gold Nugget, or the Pioneer. The other six I have stayed at. By some oddity, the four I have missed are all in the southern part of town. The Trop remains my favorite, although must admit that I liked it better when it was the Ramada Express.

I guess the Bayshore isn't really a resort OR a casino OR a hotel... but it is in Laughlin (Unincorporated Clark County.... "Laughlin" area by Nevada Gaming Commission standards and is considered part of the Laughlin Gaming area... but Avi being under jurisdiction of Mojave Gaming Authority isn't)

And just because a building changes owners and names does't mean you haven't stayed in that hotel.

Corporations come and go.... hotel buildings are for a few decades (at least in Nevada)

Fascinating replies... especially about the history of the hotels keep em coming!

Lol.... you forgot to put the unfinished "Emerald River Resort and Casino" (that unfinished skeleton on S. Casino Drive) on the list above Pioneer!
