Can anyone suggest any good breakfast and lunch buffets in Reno? I've wasted money on too many tasteless buffets in Vegas.
Haven't tried Rio. In Vegas I like the breakfast buffet at The Orleans and Gold Coast.. If I remember Rio was a litle on the expensive side. Thanks for the reply. I'll try Legacy.
I was in Reno in February 2004 to visit family. Most of my family go most often to eat the buffet at the Reno Hilton. We went there for dinner a few times. Probably great for lunch also but not sure about breakfast. The other place we went a few times for lunch which was just a buffet place with casino and I cannot think of the name. I thought the cool thing was that they had a replica of the Dale Earnheart (sorry about the spelling) Black #3 car. Also you got tickets for water or pop when you got natural 4 of a kind. We also ate at Peppermill and Atlantis and both were good, but again for dinner. Hope this helps.
ghow...I also like the Orleans and Gold Coast...reasonable prices for good food. (We especially like the Rib House and Steak house). The El Dorado has good food/buffet as well. The Silver Legacy, El Dorado, and Circus Circus are all connected, so stay at one play at three. The only restaurant I would even eat at Circus Circus is possibly Art Geckos. I also like the 24 hour cafe better at the El Dorado than the one at Silver Legacy. However the buffet and the oyster bar at SL are really good. The also have beautiful champagne buffet in Steak house at SL, but very expensive...regular buffet is more to our liking. Have a great time in Reno! Catch a rising star at the SL is pretty funny, and the shows at El D are usually really good.
Thanks for all the info.
Baldini's was the place which I could not think of.....probably not the best food, but it is NOT a hotel, just buffet place and casino so not as crowded. We went twice I think for lunch.
Thanks everyone for all the feedback. I'll arrive in Reno July 16th and hope to have a great time. Thanks again.
I live near Reno and have spent many nights there! Best buffet in town- at the Atlantis Hotel, next best Peppermill! Tried Eldorado recently-- Just O.K.!! Best hamburger in town- the "Awful-Awful" at the little Nugget across from Harrahs on Virginia streeet. Only $3.50 comes with enough fries for 3 people and the burger is huge and very juicy. 4 napkins atleast.
Thanks for the reply. My wife and kids are hamburger fanatics. We just came in from having burgers at Bennigans will definitely try it. Thanks again.
I vote for the Atlantis buffet! We go every couple of months, from Sacramento. Lots of yummy food.
