Sands Resort

Has anyone stayed here before? I don't see any reviews for it anywhere. It seems a little sketchy to me at about $135 a night for a 1 bdrm, 3 rm suite w/kitchenette. Pictures on website look very nice, but pictures can be deceiving. Please help!

Hi, we've stayed there a couple of times. It is set up really nice like an apartment with a full size fridge with freezer and a microwave. You have a living room and seperate bedroom with a queen size bed and a full size bathroom with tub/shower. We really liked it the first time we went. The second time we found it not so clean, bathroom floor loaded with sand and hairs. If you can get past that then it's not so bad.

We were going to get a room there, but the staff was so disinterested in us we left. We asked several times if they had rooms available, and no one could answer us. Felt like we were getting profiled. They could have cared less to have us as guests. They have a very high and mighty attitude, and no problem being rude.

Can't tell you about the rooms as we never saw one.

Any more reviews on this hotel? I plan to stay there in June.
