Hampton Beach Casino Question

Hi there: We bot tickets for The Turtles and Mickey Dolenz tonight. Last time we went to a concert at Hampton Beach, there was no seating and you had to stand for the entire concert. But I notice in the reviews they talk about seating, albeit bad seating. Judging from the acts we are seeing, you can figure out that we aint no spring chickens! My question is, what is the deal with HBC and how do we obtain seats for the concert tonight. If possible I would prefer not to have to arrive early and hang out for an additional hour indoors on a summer night.

Yes, there was a lovely long tribute to Davy. Turns out there are three levels of seating. We bought the cheapest seats for $64 pp and they were quite adequate. Drank too many margueritas, but I can hardly blame that on them!

So sorry you didn't get an answer right away. Glad you had seating!

There's a new owner of the Hampton Beach Casino, has any one else read this news? Supposedly it's none other than the family that owns Salvatore's down in Lawrence & their fabulous Boston waterfront locations owners.

Can't wait to see what's up their sleeve for the HB Casino!

Can picture it all renovated inside & out! It'll be beautiful again IF this is the case.

Here's the article from a few months ago (March, 2012) about the sale of the Hampton Beach Casino from the Grandmaison family to the new owners---the Lipoli Corporation (who own Salvatore's etc...)

hmmm...interesting. I am glad that the casino will not be turned into yet another condo complex. It is a pretty cool building, and a lot of people were having a lot fun there on Sunday night. I am glad the Grandmaison family cared enough about the community to keep the casino experience alive for future generations, instead of grabbing the money and knocking it down. Stay tuned....

There's too many people in (several) generations now with good memories of the Hampton Beach Casino. The Grandmaison family were smart to watch out for it when they sold it. The Lipoli Corporation will do an amazing job with it, with whatever they have up their sleeve. Hopefully the HB Casino will be so great again; that this time it'll be open year round after it gets completed, that would be awesome for every one.

We'll have to see what transpires for sure with this one.....
