Rehearsal Dinner

Does anyone have any suggestions for a great place to host a wedding rehearsal dinner in the Norwich/ Hanover area? Carpenter & Main will sadly be closed over our target weekend, but if you have any suggestions for similar-style food and ambiance, they would be much appreciated! Thanks!

You could try the Canoe Club in Hanover OR either the Stephen Pearch Restaurant or Parker inn restaurant in Quechee.

This restaurant is in Henniker, NH, it's quite good if you get the chance to check it out. It's about an hour from Norwich/Hanover area (I'm guessing) because I just did a quick mapquest on it, yet made up addresses, so you'd have to decide if this is okay for your group. It's called "Daniel's Tavern". Go to their site to check it out when you get the chance. I had lunch here a few weeks ago and it was GREAT & really perfect for a rehearsal dinner. They have a gorgeous room for a group here because we peeked in to check it out! I really loved this town it's in; wait till you see it. It was very quaint & charming driving thru. There's a really cute shop upstairs to browse thru, which, I didn't hesitate to check out!

Thank you all for the great advice! Our wedding was actually about a year and a half ago, but we eneded up hosting the rehearsal dinner at a fantastic little restaurant in VT called the Barnard Inn. I highly recommend it, if you are ever out that way (http://www.barnardinnrestaurant.com/).

Our wedding reception was at Simon Pearce, in Quechee. They have an upstairs room, over-looking the waterfall, that was just perfect for a wintery wedding.

Thanks, again. Take care. :-)
