tubing and rafting in July

We are going to NH to camp and have some adventures in July.

I am looking for the following advice?

How is the water temperature in july for tubing and white water rafting?

Saco River?

Androscoggin River?

is it moderately cold or super super cold????

We are looking at

Cranmore aerial and mountain adventure day

Franconia Notch Gorge Flume day

thanks marianna

1. Re: tubing and rafting in July

I've had one experience tubing on the Saco. It was after a very dry spring and summer therefore the water levels were quite low and the water not cold at all. On several occasions we had to carry our tubes as the water was too shallow. Based on the amount of snowfall this past winter and the very low temps this spring you may encounter the opposite conditions this July.
