Portsmouth Evening

We are on a driving trip thru NE from PA, and our first stop is in Portsmouth. We are staying at the Port Inn. We anticipate arriving in time to visit the opening of the Warner House, then check in to our hotel. Please let me know of a locally owned restaurant for a casual dinner. I don't want to have to dress up for just one night. Thanks. I read that the Port Inn isn't walking distace of too many eateries. Sorry, just saw the entry below mine. But, if there are any additions?

I would suggest Jay McSherry's new restaurant: http://www.106kitchen.com/

Fair prices, and really good food.

Lots of good choices. Here is one I liked

If you like brew pubs, this one is good.

I also second the Portsmouth Brewery suggestion. It's casual, friendly, fun, and super tasty!

If it is a nice evening I would suggest eating outside at one of the decks downtown.
