Dinnerin Portsmouth

My husband and I are staying in Portsmouth for 1 night. I'm looking for dinner recommendations ( preferably seafood).

Our guests always give great reviews when we recommend Jumpin' Jay's Fish Cafe or Surf. Either is an excellent choice in our opinion

If you want good seafood in a casual style, go to Newick's. It's not really in Portsmouth, but it's close enough and has a view of Great Bay.

Newick's is good and in a nice location. But it is a large family style restaurant. If you are looking for something more upscale, I'd recommend some of the other recommendations. Or, just walk around downtown Portsmouth and see what strikes your fancy. It is that type of town.
