Fox & Hound Disappointment

My girlfriend and I went to the Fox & Hound on July 18th, 2009 at 7:45pm for dinner. We sit down and order a bottle of Chianti, shortly after we place our order for a ravioli dish and a Prime Dry Age NY Strip, on their specials. It was not until around 9:10 that we were served our meals. Some of the raviolis were still cold. The steak ordered medium rare, was served medium, which is unacceptable for a $37 steak. After receiving our meals late the ravioli was comped by the waiter, however when one of the managers or possibly the owner walked by I mentioned the inconvenience and unacceptability of the situation and his response was, “What do you want me to do about it,” in a rude manner. They ended up comping the desert. Overall I would say that the Fox & Hound is not worth what you pay for, unless you want rude service, slow serving time, and a restaurant that cannot cook food to the requested or expected temperatures.

The question is who to blame. I used to deliver pizza and if the order was screwed up I would allways get blamed even though I handed them the correct box and bags. I would write a letter to the owner if it upsets you that much.
