Hi,Confused about seminyak hotels

after having done exhaustive research on where a solo female traveller should stay in the seminyak area, have narrowed down a few choices.

My main concern is it should be walking distance to shops and rester aunts and close to the beach.

The Haven, breezes, villa coco ,,villa dyana, puri madawi , amadea or

Lokha ?

Any advice would be appreciated

Havn't stayed at any of those you name so can't offer advice on suitability, but I would suggest you drop Puri Madawi as it is well off the beaten track and you need a taxi to get anywhere.

Hi,

The Haven and Villa Coco are right next to each other, good location. The Haven is huge, Villa Coco is lovely villa accommodation, they do have one bedroom villas and is very "old style" Bali. Close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants at the end of Jalan Doublesix.

Don't think any of those are near the beach, but the Haven is a large property right on the main road, so it is easy to get a taxi (go for the blue ones), right out the front of reception. the supermarket is only about a five minute walk along a bustling main road and another ten or so to the heart of Seminyaks restaurant area. But at only a couple of dollars to get anywhere, taxis are a good option for a safety conscious, lone female traveller

If you want to be on the beach the o- cean by outrigger is modern and close to everything good security to for sole traveller the style is not Balinese though Jakarta is a couple of doors up and although abit dated pools etc are very impressive there are a lot of bars and restaurants out the front of these hotels and shops are directly behind you are in leigan however a couple hundred yards it seamlessly blends into seminyak

Breezes is located near to many eating places and is just a short stroll to the beach. If you wanted beach front at a similar price you could look at The Pelangi perhaps:-)

I have not stayed at the Breezes but a friend has stayed there twice and raves about it. Have stayed in the area (at the Sofitel) and it's close to restuarants and shopping. Probably a 5 minute walk to the beach. Nice pool. I trevelled to Bali solo in January and had a blast. Have fun!
