I just wanted to say thanks to the people of Ruidoso. We were there for Spring Break. EVERYBODY was extremely friendly, not like most small tourist towns. Our trip started with eating lunch at the Kentucky Fried Chicken, the waitress was super friendly and actually escorted us to a table AND brought us our food. Then we stopped in at Action Sports across the street to see about renting ski equipment. The people there took a lot of time out of their schedule to give us whatever information we needed; we eventually rented from them and it worked out fine. We stayed at the Inn of the Mountain Gods (i'll post a separate review on the hotel guide for that one; suffice it to say it was pleasant). We ate at Rock and Roll Hamburgers the service was a little slow but well worth the wait. We walked around mid-town and took in most of the shops, again each shop owner was VERY friendly. We went to the St Joseph's Catholic Mission; what a beautiful Church. Lastly, we went skiing at Ski Apache (i'll post a separate review) again suffice it to say it was great and the staff was extremely friendly. Thanks again Ruidoso and yes we will be back!!!
