Taos Pueblo Pet Friendly?

Hi there, we are wondering if anyone knows whether the Taos Pueblo is dog-friendly? We have a couple of little dogs we are travelling with. I have emailed the Taos Pueblo information site, but no one has gotten back to me yet. Thanks!

Taos Pueblo is their home and they have their own dogs which can and do run free. You can bring your dogs. http://www.taospueblo.com/news/pueblo-dogs If you end up visiting Mesa Verde NP, then you can not bring dogs on any of the trails or into cliff dwellings. You can not leave them in the car, it gets too hot. www.nps.gov/meve/planyourvisit/pets.htm

We do NOT recommend taking dogs into Taos Pueblo. it is considered inappropriate at best. Dogs at Taos Pueblo are not what we consider to be "pets" in the way that other consider them to be.

There are very nice pet boarding and sitting facilities in Taos including 10,000 Wags. Check them out.
