evening dress code

We are going to Ulusaba in late February for our 25th wedding anniversary and I wondered what the dress code for ladies is on an evening?

Hi there!

What an excellent lodge for your anniversary (and congratulations!).

The dress code is pretty relaxed, although some folks do like to dress up for supper (as there is some time between the evening game drive and dinner), although it is never high heels or dresses

etc.

Relaxed & comfortable is key - if you want to dress up, some nice jewelry or accessories can help.

I usually wear jeans or long pants with comfortable neat shoes, a nice top and some pretty earrings or necklace (or a scarf or similar accessory if in winter time).

Warm regards

Hi Tracey W,

Many congrats on your 25th wedding anniversary. The bush is a special place to celebrate a milestone like that, and it will leave you with many lasting memories.

Like Jacqui said, dress code is generally casual in the bush, and as long as you are comfortable and happy, that is the most important thing.

Have a wonderful time.

Warm wishes.

Hi Tracey Congrats , we spent our 15th anniversary a few years back in Sabi Sands, I agree with everyones comments , Feb can be quite hot and like Julie I like to take a couple of maxi dressess with sandals it is generally cooler to wear and also nice to dress up a little from the pants and tops but it is your choice, we have visited a few lodges and there is always a mixture so whatever you decide you will not feel out, enjoy your trip

Just be yourself and wear whatever feels comfortable. We stayed there last year and it was amazing. Make sure you tell them in advance it's your anniversary and they will definatley look after you. They were the most professional courteous people I have ever met in a hotel setting.. Nothing is too much trouble and you will love it!!! Any questions just ask..?

Hi Tracey,

Hope you are well and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Ulusaba for your special celebration.

There is no specific dress code for dinner. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and you are welcome to wear casual wear and what you would be comfortable in.

Hi Tracey,

There is no specific Dress code for dinner. It is very casual and most guests would wear casual wear for dinner. You would not necessarily require any heels, but it is also completely up to you and what you would be comfortable in.

Hi Tracey...just to confirm what others have said about Ulusaba......it is such a lovely place and everything about it is superb, you will love it. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and nobody really dresses up for dinner...usually because you have been out on a game drive and come back with not much time before dinner ...just a quick shower and change. Some days we had been following Leopards until quite late and we all went in for dinner just as we were. We stayed at Rock Lodge in December, no heels there as it is quite steep...casual and comfortable is the main thing. There is a good laundry service too if you need it. The shop at Safari Lodge sells some really good clothes, fleeces, hats etc at very reasonable prices.

You will definitely have a wonderful time for your anniversary.
