Dining & grocery store between Ithaca & King Ferry

We're flying in to Ithaca in a week and we are staying in King Ferry. Our flight gets in about 4:00.

I'd like to find a quick and healthy bite to eat before we get to King Ferry. I'd also like to make a quick grocery store stop.

Any suggestions? We're coming in on a Monday afternoon.

Thanks!

1 Exit south of the airport off Route 13 is Triphammer Road, where you will find 2 major grocery stores: Tops and P&C for your grocery supplies.

On the other side of the bridge from the grocery stores is a plaza which has a CTB (Collegetown Bagels/Ithaca Bakery) which does have fast sandwiches and reasonably healthy fare.

For less healthy and not as quick, there is a full-serve restaurant by CTB in the same plaza called The Rose, an Applebee's right in front of Tops, or the Tops grocery store does have a good selection of take-out sandwiches etc. McDonald's & Friendly's are also there if you are desperate, but the CTB is popular and the sandwiches are good. Check them out at www.collegetownbagels.com

Between Ithaca & King Ferry- not much in the way of restaurants, although Rogue's Harbor Inn in Lansing is a decent option.

Not far from the airport is "Tops"--quite a large supermarket.

There are several places to eat including Hope's Way--a gourmet sandwich/salad/soup spot in the Triphammer Mall. Also, Collegetown Bagels and The Rose in the same mall. In the same area as Tops is Applebee's and on the way to King Ferry, Rogue's Harbor Inn.

Further up Route 90 just outside of Aurora is Pumpkin Hill Bistro--just wonderful!
