Yes it is, but I wouildnt do it
Take van wyck to LIE. Take LIE to last exit before tunnel, Van Dam St. Tale Queensboro Bridge to Manhatttan to FDR Drive North
Take FDR Drive to Alexander Hamilton Bridge (I-95 North)
Take I95 (Cross Bronx Expwy) Get off at Bronx River parkway North, Take Bronx River Parkway North, It becomes Sprain Brook Parkway , take until Cross Westerchester Expwy (I287) East
Take I287 East until merger with I-95 North and stay on I-95 until Boston
Thanks for the quick reply. Why isn't it a good idea to take this route? Too much traffic?
Way, way, way too much traffic. 95 is a disaster.
Howardform's route won't work.. You can't get from the Harlem River Drive onto the Alexander Hamilton Bridge. Instead, you'd exit the northbound FDR onto the Willis Avenue Bridge and use that to connect to the northbound I-87 (Major Deegan Expressway.) You'd take that to the eastbound Cross County Parkway to the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway and then I-287 to I-95.
This would be a horrendously roundabout and slow way to get to Boston!
