You are welcome. I have been there a few times so far this year. The place is looking good. I look forward to trying the new place down by the lake.

Me too!

Do you know if you can dock your boat there to eat at the restaurant?

my fiancee and i are getting married on july 23rd and are looking to go up to lake george for a couple of days after the wedding. we're taking our honeymoon in a few months. i keep reading reviews about the bad condition of the resort and service. I figure for the prices theyre charging the hotel should be well kept. Any insight on if the constructions given the resort a major facelift?

The place actually looks quite nice overall. I have been there a few times this year for some various things and although there is still some minor work being done (new carpeting, painting etc) the grounds look very nice as does the hotel in general. Come on up and enjoy the area - I am sure you will be happy.

kayface28 Congratulations on your wedding and honeymoon plans. Please let me know your experiences at the Sagamore. We are having our daughter's wedding there in Sept. and I was not impressed with our stay at the wedding tasting event end of April. I have great concerns with all of the negative comments and can only say it is a pretty location; however not worth the expensive rates and guest fees.

Have you considered the Boathouse B&B or the Inn at Erlowest?

Both are romantic settings and a bit smaller than the Sagamore.

I agree with ADK that the Sagamore is looking pretty spectacular this year.
