Niagara Falls Canadian side to Cave of Winds and back

We are going to Niagara Falls on the Canadian Side. Is it practical to go over to the US side for Cave of the Winds if we have to return back to the Canadian side later? Just wondering if 2 border crossings just for one attraction is worth it(even if it DOES sound better than Journey Behind the Falls). And it seems too far to really walk it.

Hello dw, I think it definitely *is* worth the trip (Cave of the Winds is much better than Journey Behind the Falls, or whatever it's called). It's not too far to walk in my opinion, esp. if you can get close to the Rainbow Bridge by motorized transportation. You would just walk across the border, bear right past the parking lot... it's easier and cheaper to walk than drive.
