Rodeway Inn-Main Street location

Can anyone tell me if this is a safe location? Looking at staying here and walking back from restaurants/bars in the evening.

This is on the border of the commercial district and the residential neighborhoods off Main Street. It is a quieter location than near the Casino, yet nearly everything is walkable. The Falls, the Aquarium, 7-11 for snacks/water, and restaurants and bars on Third Street (Pizza Bistro, Donatello's, Wine on Third, Third Street Tap Room). You can also walk to the Casino, the Hard Rock, and any of the businesses near Old Falls Street (Legends, Savor, a pizza place, and a high-end deli inside the culinary institute). It's all pretty much equi-distant. There's also a TGI Friday's inside the Sheridan.

I would advise you to stay on the major roads when walking: Main, Third, and Niagara at night. The side streets are not well-lit as they are mostly residential with a lot of vacant properties. Use common sense and you will be fine.
