Cheap Place To Stay Around Gore Mountain

2 skiers looking for information on cheap place to stay with kitchen. Never been to Gore. Have been going to Killington 3 yrs now. Seen Gore on You-Tube and desided to try Gore this yr.Plan to stay during week days. Thanx, Skiman2u

You can try adkbyowner.com, vrbo.com, or the accommodations section at Goremountain.com has suggestions and links. You can stay very cheap in Lake George Village approximately 20-30 minutes from the mountain. Keep in mind that there are not any on-slope accommodations like at Killington. Also, be sure to avoid President's week in February. HTH.

The only place I know of at Gore that has efficiencies(with kitchenette) is the Northwind Lodge. It's 2 miles South of the Gore entrance. There is a minimum stay for the efficiencies. You can check them out at their website. Google it. Yes, there is lodging at Gore! You don't have to travel down to Lake George. There are 4 motels on the same road. I'm not sure about the others. But, we have stayed at the Northwind and it's very clean and reasonable. No, Gore is nothing like Killington! That's the plus! Good Luck! AlanS
