Kraal Bay Lack of control on the water

Once again the lack of control by National Parks officials have destroyed the time spent at Kraal Bay in the West Coast Nature Reserve . The officials are only concerned with what goes on on the beach but simply don't care what happens on the water . The house boat Nirvana has become a party boat with incessant load music played by the guests till late at night with no regard for the other people staying on yachts and the other house boats . Kraal Bay has an area set aside for waterskiing but this isn't controlled at all and the powerboaters seem to take delight in showing off and sking between the houseboats and yachts at anchor . There is a specified no wake zone which is even flaunted by the officials when they drive through the area . Altogether an unpleasant place to stay unless you are a party animal so if you want peace and quite , stay away .
