Going to Red Beach and Kamari Beach

We will be travelling in Santorini in mid of Apr. Did anyone know how to reach these 2 beaches from Fira town centre if we do not rent a car to drive?

You will be able to take a bus to Kamari from the main bus station in Fira.

To get to the Red Beach you'll need to take a bus to Akrotiri, again, from the main bus station, and then a short walk to the beach itself.

Here is a link to the Santorini bus service - your hotel should be able to give you details of the most up to date timetable as it changes throughout the year, depending on the season and number of visitors to the island. Mid April will be fairly quiet so I'd expect to see a minimum service running then, but as I say, check with your hotel.

Here's a map of the island too, so you can see where you're going -

Is the bus in your link same as the sightseeing bus called Smart Bus? Actually we just don't know whether buses from various companies all using the bus stop in Fira Town? As our hotel booked seems is quite near the bus stop.

No, KTEL is the island bus co-operative that runs frequent services to everywhere on the island.

Smart buses are privately run by I think Kamari Tours, you can get details from them. They are not smart however, less frequent and different stops as indicated in their stuff, not every day or frequent like the island buses.

Their Kamari <> Ancient Thera mini-bus service is useful but pricey at 10 € or something.

Yeah, stick to KTEL where you can, it's the official public bus service on the island.
