When would be the best time to holiday at Paradise Cove, low humidity and less chance of rain,

The weather worldwide is messed up so who knows , been to the maldives over a dozen times and same as you having a change mainly due to the higher cost of the maldives .

May is a good month - the summer humidity and high temps have eased off by then and its quite a pleasant month.

I also love October and November before the humid hot conditions come round again - October is the sunniest driest month.

I don't think there are any bad months but I always avoid Jan-Feb as they have the highest risk of cyclones as well as being hot, humid and wet..

Looked round Paradise Cove a few months ago just before its refurb and liked it - should be lovely now :)

Agree about May which is when we try to go. Weather is usually fabulous - nice and hot without too much rain or humidity. We've never had bad weather at that time of year.

Another yes for May. Weather is fine all over the island too so staying any location is great.

Thanks all, still trying to decide, go Emirates and stop at Dubai, or Thomson on dreamliner.

More expensive but like the direct flight.

Any thoughts?.

The dreamliner is flying from Manchester direct to Mauritius next year? I thought it was from Gatwick only.

Sadly its only from Gatwick. Think FC/Thomson has forgotten its Northern Customers!!!

Fly Emirates - I am sat in Dubai business lounge at the moment in transit to Japan sipping champagne.

We always have a 2.5 hour stopover enroute to Mauritius which breaks the trip up nicely whch I prefer.

I think you have extra charges with Thomson which you dont have with EK?

You couldn't do worse than EK's A380!
