Thanks to the great info and advice on this site I have just about decided on a Selous/Ruaha 8 night combo for my safari, and now I need to decide when is the 'best' time.
My options are the first 10 days of each of Sept, Oct and Nov this year. I am a little concerned about the heat and whilst I appreciate there may not be much difference between these three months, does anyone have experience of temperatures in Sept versus Nov, say? I am tempted to go for November purely for the reduced rates as the trip is already way over the budget I had set, but I do struggle in very hot temperatures. And I don’t think there are any fans at the camps.
And any real differences in the wildlife I will be likely to see in these months?
Any help appreciated, thanks.
