Deckertown Falls

I've enjoyed hiking to the lesser known waterfalls in the Watkins Glen/Montour Falls area but when I went to Deckertown Falls last Oct there were No Tresspassing signs just past the parking area. I decided to play it safe and not proceed. Is this area now closed to the public or is it ok to follow the path but stay away from the property to the right? Any other lesser known waterfalls hikes in the area? I've done Excelsior Glen (a few times, one of my favorites) and Havana Glen.

Thanks for any info.
