World Cup accommodation in Cuiabá - try Chapada

If you are still struggling to find accommodation in Cuiabá I would encourage you to check out Chapada dos Guimarães. It is only 60 kms from Cuiabá, has many hotels and camping options and is a much more pleasant location than Cuiabá (which is arguably one of the ugliest cities in Brazil and currently in a state of chaos as it tries to get infrastructure projects completed before the World Cup). Chapada by contrast is a small resort town, very safe and also enjoys a much pleasanter climate than Cuiabá (the hottest state capital in Brazil) as it is at a higher altitude. Also has good bus links with Cuiabá.
