170 Hamilton Avenue. At the rate they're progressing, it will probably be mid-March when they open.
They're open! As of April 21st.
I went here for lunch. The menu offerings are pancakes, waffles, crepes, and various egg dishes.
I ordered the blueberry pancakes $9.50 and coffee $2.50. The pancakes are typical of the size you'd make at home. The serving was a generous 6 pancakes. You won't leave hungry. They tasted fine. Since I haven't been to IHOP in years, I can't make a comparison on taste and price. Star Diner on the Post Road does offer pancakes that have been noted as the Best of White Plains (or was it Westchester). I know you can get out of there for much less than the $15 I paid at Original Pancake House. More likely under $10.
This is a big place that's located across the street from the White Plains Mall on Hamilton Ave. It's also a block from the Galleria and a couple of blocks from The Ritz.
Most of the menu items start at the price listed above. Friendly service. Coffee refill was offered without asking.
Hours 7:00 - 3:00 daily.
