UNC Soccer Camp

In July, I will be travelling from Canada with my daughter to UNC for a soccer camp....My daughter will be staying in residence. I am looking for suggestions on where to stay (reasonable rates) so I am within walking distance to the campus/camp.. .

There are only two hotels within reasonable walking distance to campus--The Carolina Inn and the Franklin Hotel. I don't know how you define "reasonable", but both are a little pricey--around $200 a night with taxes although discounts may be available. Chapel Hill has a pretty good bus service, so if you want to save some money you could stay at a less expensive outlying hotel and still get to campus rather easily.

I can usually find a great deal on The Carolina Inn during summer months for less than $100 on Kayak.com. It's a beautiful and very special place, the best for a great stay in Chapel Hill.
