Pine island

We are looking at Pine Island and the rental Brandywine. Any info on this area or rental would be great! We stayed in Whalehead before-how does Pine Island area compare? thanks!

It's closer to where you enter on the Outer Banks, it's got some really nice homes and they are all 3-4 or less lots to the ocean. You are closer to Kitty Hawk and father from Corolla. Same sand, same ocean, same sun and wind. Enjoy.

We've stayed at Pine Island several times - pretty easy access to the beach with most houses - the beach is wide with a slow drop off. Very close to the Harris Teeter at the Currituck Club and not far from TimBuck II or Duck.

One of the houses we stayed at is very close to Brandywine and shares the same beach access.

I visit the outer banks twice a year and have stayed in both Whalehead and Pine Island. Pine Island is definetly better. I've stayed near the house you mentioned and that area is beautiful.. As one of the others have said, your close enough to the restaurants & shops (10 - 15 minutes).
