Water temp in June?

Will spend first week in June on Holden Beach. Very excited but don't know if the beach and sea are worth using that time of year. Is the water temp unbearable?

The water will not be warm yet, but definitely not unbearable. I expect you will find it "refreshing."

I think you could expect water temperatures in the low to mid 70's which is fine once you have taken that initial plunge. This is really a great time in that it's not too hot and the crowds are not so bad, especially if you have an interest in golf.
