Since most of the regular eateries were not open I thought I'd give the Huddle House a second try, after having had a terrible experience the first time.
Last time the cook & waitress simply forgot to bring the Biscuit and gravy that was part of the "package" breakfast.
This time, no one forgot, but what they did bring was cold ( the plate felt refrigerated), and when I finally got someone to pay attention (had already eaten the eggs, sausage & hash browns) I complained. At that point the waitress took the dish, microwaved it and brought it back (we all know what a microwave does to a biscuit don't we?).
I stated that I wasn't satisfied with this, and really no inger wanted it as I was done with everything else.
The waitress simply picked up the dish and tossed it out. Saying absolutely nothing.
Then when I went to pay my bill, I told the cashier I would like to have the charge for the B&G removed due to the issues that arose.
Next thing I know the owner jumps into the conversation and asks me "What with you? (in a very surly manner).
When I said I wasn't satisfied about the way this issue was being handled, he told me to get the hell out of his restaurant and never come back (I have no intention of ever going back.).
I've been to many a Huddle House, and can say without a doubt, that this one is not one I would ever suggest anyone try.
Sad that a business owner has no idea what it mean to be nice to a customer. Being rude and obnoxious will surely cost him many more customers. I
