We are planning a trip to Ocracoke over spring break which starts April 10th and ends Apr. 19th. We have stayed at Edwards of Ocracoke before and loved it. We however are low on funds this year and have a dog we need to bring, therefore we are interested in tent camping. Can you suggest a good campground with some shade preferably, but not mandantory? We are only planning on 3-5 days and would like to know when would be the best time to come during this time frame? Looking forward to coming. By the way we could also do a hotel if it allows pets and has inexpensive rates for the time frame also. We would appreciate any information you could provide.

1. Re: campsites

Teeters would be my only choice for tenters although NPS is nice not sure if they are open yet and only cold shower.

Teeters does have some sites with trees the other camp ground is better for RV's basically a gravel lot in the back yard of of the store
