How far in advance should I book the ferry?

Hi!

Planning a Milo's holiday for 5 nights in July. We will be in Athens two nights before and one night after Milos.

I'm just wondering how far in advance should I book the ferries? Do they usually sell out?

Thanks!

Early July is mid-season, late July is hi-season. Therefore towards the end of July it is more neccesary to book.

It is just guesswork really. Mid week ferries are less full than those timed for say weekend visits.

If you are quoting fixed days then you can book.

At the moment you cannot book some cheaper ferries like 'Adamantios Korais' 'Ag Georgios' on that route for July so for those you would have to wait.

I agree with RH.

But if you have finilised your visiting days and you dont want to use the slower n scheaperferries then you should book now. If your returning ferry is on Sunday do not leave it for last minute.
