Restaurants in Wilmington, NC

Ok...'saw these recent eateries posted on the form: Elijah's, Pilot House, Riverboat Landing, The George Restaurant, Sweet & Savory, Trolley Stop, Dock Street Oyster Bar.

We are looking for LUNCH place for adults and children, ages 5, and 12. Which one stands out that you recently visited? Is the Dock Street Oyster Bar smokey? (The food sounds great!)

Outdoor seating would be great...the weather has been super! We just want some QUALITY food...seafood + a mix of other offerings is desireable. Wrigtshville Beach is not an option, today...we are meeting our bicycling husbands in Wilmington.

Thank you!!

Dock Street Oyster Bar sounds like what you are looking for. Really good seafood, casual...kids will enjoy atmosphere. I don't recall if they have outdoor seating, but believe they do have a small area on the sidewalk.

My family had lunch at Pilot House during our summer vacation. The outdoor seating is nice... with a view of the battleship. Enjoy.
