Wilmington B&Bs

We are planning an April visit to the Wilmington area and wanted to spend a few nights at a B&B in Wilmington. There are many to chose from and was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience or suggestions as to the best ones.

Thanks for any help.

Love that city.

We loved the Eugene O'Neil suite in the DeRosset House, part of the Wilmingtonian complex of accommodations: thewilmingtonian.com/derosset.htm

Quaint, lovely, historic. Tiny kitchen, foyer, large high ceiling living room, large bedroom and bathroom.

And the award winning verandas.com.

I have also seen more historic district lofts, some along the river, on vrbo.com (vacation rentals by owner)

The best B&B in town is Verandas. It is pricy but if you are looking for something wonderful, that is the place to go.
